About the role
The Program Director II is responsible for overseeing the FAAST (Fast Access to Student Success) Workforce Program at West Valley College. This position leads the development, implementation, and evaluation of workforce training programs designed to enhance employability skills and career advancement opportunities for students.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive workforce training programs aligned with industry needs and student needs.
- Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with community partners to secure funding and resources for program expansion.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the program, including budget management and resource allocation.
- Provide guidance and support to students in their career exploration and development.
- Maintain strong relationships with local businesses and organizations to ensure alignment with program goals.
- Conduct regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss progress and address challenges.
Requirements
- A Master's degree in Education, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in workforce development, adult education, or related fields.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
- Experience in grant writing and securing external funding.
- Knowledge of labor market trends and employment statistics.

Pay
Annual salary range: $188,512.00 - $200,768.00.
