Program Director

About the role

The Program Director at The Little Gym leads the curriculum and ensures the delivery of the best classes for children ages 4 months through 12 years. This role involves teaching amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method, while developing and growing a fun and professional work environment for staff.

What we expect from you

• Reinforcement and Leading of Core Values and Mission Statement: Understanding the philosophy and program, and communicating information accurately and professionally to team and customers
• Teaching: Teaching amazing gymnastics classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching method. Teaching is your biggest priority
• Leadership: Developing, growing, and maintaining a fun and professional work environment for staff. Working directly with leadership team to ensure the team is truly teaching the BEST classes
• Public Speaking: Sharing knowledge of all the programs and events offered and bringing every aspect of the curriculum to life
• Customer Service: Providing outstanding customer service and membership experience, treating members like family with a professional but personal touch
• Business Indicators: Assisting the Gym Director by studying, maintaining, and assessing key business indicators to develop and grow the business in both enrollment and finances
• Office Tasks: Answering phone calls, texts, emails, Instaply, voicemail, and walk-in inquiries
• Cleaning: Maintaining a clean and safe environment by cleaning equipment thoroughly

Our Back Story

The Little Gym is the world’s premier enrichment and physical development center for children ages 4 months through 12 years. Programs offer children a Springboard to Life’s Adventures by using movement-based learning and imaginative play to help build the confidence and skills needed at each stage of childhood. For over 40 years, our trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through parent/child classes, gymnastics, dance and enjoyable extras like camps, Parents’ Survival Nights, skill clinics and Awesome Birthday Bash parties.

Somersault Operating currently has 30 The Little Gym locations spread across 8 states (SC, NC, VA, TN, PA, NJ, WA, CA), with multiple new locations scheduled to open in the coming years. All associated locations are independently owned and operated by a franchisee.
