The Program Director at Community Services Group (CSG) plays a crucial role in managing and overseeing adult mental health residential programs. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and contractual relationships, aligning with CSG's mission and core values, and serving as a resource for MH or IDD Services.

Job Description

  • Manages program and employees in compliance with company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards.
  • Makes sure services are delivered to maintain high-quality care.
  • Handles incident management and follows up appropriately.
  • Ensures compliance with regulations regarding employee qualifications and training.
  • Approves employee leaves and schedules, and authorizes or assigns overtime.
  • Serves as a primary representative to external agencies.
  • Develops and manages the program budget, monitoring its financial growth.
  • Supervises location operations and oversees program policies and procedures.
  • Hires employees, plans, manages, and directs their work.
  • Supervises employees to provide quality training, supervision, coaching, performance management, and guidance.
  • Establishes and maintains professional contacts to build networks supporting similar interests.
  • Identifies and addresses problems, providing feedback as necessary.
  • Ensures the environment is structured and responsive to the needs of those being served.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and skills in administration and supervision of a multidisciplinary workforce.
  • Oversees billing and manages referrals.
  • Provides program outcomes and monitoring reports to stakeholders.
  • Consults with program psychiatrists or other delegated professionals on clinical, medical, and programmatic issues.
  • Participates in quality assurance/quality management activities related to the specified programs.
  • Develops and coordinates program policies with overall company and program goals, directing daily operations, evaluating results, and recommending changes.
  • Knowledgeable in assessment procedures and the development of individualized goal plans.
  • Knowledgeable about preventing, detecting, or treating MH or IDD.
  • Knowledgeable about the programs of professional and voluntary MH or IDD organizations.
  • Able to manage an entire component or a variety of functions involving different components of MH or IDD.
  • Maintains 24/7 availability for employees to minimize emergencies and ensure constant, effective care.
  • Willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma-informed care: safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
  • Committed to promoting cultural, racial, language, and gender access, diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Qualifications

  • One of the following: Master's degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline, two years of mental health clinical experience, and must be registered, licensed, or certified to practice their profession, if that profession is governed by a registration, licensing, or certification board in this Commonwealth.
  • A Bachelor's degree may be considered in combination with considerable supervisory experience.

Additional Requirements

  • Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings.
