About the role

Bethel University is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator for its Undergraduate BSN Nursing Program. The position is based in St. Paul, Minnesota, and works 24 hours per week for 10 months, with 2 months off during the summer. The starting range for this position is $22.00/hour to $23.90/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities

  • Program Support – 75%
    • Databases and student/faculty compliance
    • Clinical evaluation, exams, syllabi, and course gradebook databases
    • Course, instructor, and program evaluation
    • Onboarding of program faculty
    • Coordination and updating of program newsletters, handbooks, mailings, evaluations/surveys, and websites
    • Planning and executing program events
    • Compiling reports for internal use and external agencies
    • Continuous quality improvement
    • Maintaining program budget, processing invoices, and tracking expenditures
    • Hiring and supervising teaching assistants (TAs)
    • Managing hiring and payment of faculty TAs
  • General Operational Support – 25%
    • Scheduling meetings and providing coordination support
    • Communicating between faculty, students, and the program director
    • Providing the first point of contact for students
    • Scheduling and maintaining program exams
    • Auxiliary support for faculty
    • Technical and clerical support for virtual and in-person meetings

Qualifications

  • Education: Post-high school training/coursework
  • Experience: 1+ year of office experience
  • Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Qualtrix, and video meeting platforms; strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and people skills; ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally and securely; ability to provide strong customer service; ability to prioritize and shift directions easily; ability to maintain strict accuracy; ability to work collaboratively and independently; ability to handle confidential and sensitive information in a professional and secure manner is essential.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Support the Nursing Program Director and Lab Director in monitoring and managing the program's budget, including processing invoices and tracking expenditures.
  • Maintain agreements with corresponding vendors.
  • Coordinate nursing licensure process with undergraduate students, the department, and the University Registrar.
  • Provide spending projections for the program.
  • Manage hiring and payment of faculty Teaching Assistants (TA).
