Responsibilities
- Provide support, guidance, and supervision to staff.
- Maintain collaboration with the other programs within the Division to maximize referrals and supports for families.
- Provide ongoing community outreach.
- Provide case coverage when needed.
- Maintain program capacity and optimize reimbursement (where applicable).
- Review and ensure all billing completed adheres to compliance regulations and is submitted timely.
- Track, enforce and verify timely completion of all progress notes, assessments, care plans and any other required documentation.
- Complete and submit all county, state and agency reports on time.
- Verify all timesheets on a weekly basis.
- Ensure the training needs of staff are met.
- Monitor service dollar usage (where applicable) and ensure adherence to related polices.
- Provide staff with a minimum of monthly supervision and complete meaningful and timely performance appraisals.
- Hold team meetings and participate in monthly program and Division meetings.
- Participate in agency wide goals as requested.
Qualifications
- Master's Degree in a Human Service-related field and 1 year of supervisory/managerial experience OR Minimum of 2 years supervisory/managerial experience in the human services field and a high School Diploma.
- LMSW, preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills required.
- Valid NYS driver's license with a safe and responsible driving history.
