Program Coordinator

About the Role

The Program Coordinator coordinates community outreach initiatives that raise awareness of healthy living, connect service-area residents to essential preventive medical services, and facilitates seamless navigation through screenings and preventive care.

Responsibilities

• Provides outreach activities to promote cancer prevention awareness and screenings.
• Coordinates community events and connects people to needed resources.
• Prepares and distributes educational materials that promote healthy lifestyle and positive health outcomes.
• Assists with data collection for grant reporting and renewals, ensuring grant deliverables are met or exceeded.
• Assists patients with navigating their healthcare and screenings.
• Actively seeks strategies to reach residents experiencing barriers to access to care.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma (Required); Bachelor’s Degree in Health Education, Public Health, Nursing, or related degree (Preferred).
• Minimum Years of Experience: 2 years (Required); Experience with community outreach and health promotion (Preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License (Required).

Skills

• Computer skills including Google Suite and Excel.
• Excellent communication and strong customer service skills.

Pay

Hiring range: $20.00 - $25.00 hourly.

Schedule

Part-time, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, with occasional nights or weekend days. Primarily day shift with occasional evening or night shifts.
