About the role

The Program Coordinator works in a team environment, owning projects and collaborating closely with the team and physician partners.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with agendas, meeting arrangements and minutes
  • Assist with projects for the Operations & Risk Adjustment team and other assignments received by management
  • Assists supervisor and department with presentations (content editing/content recommendations in addition to standard proofing)
  • Collects and compiles data and information for analysis
  • Composes routine, general correspondence to stakeholders and leadership
  • Effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks and projects
  • Reconcile and validate data for accuracy and completion
  • Research and provide courteous, accurate and timely responses to inquiries by providers as related to Operations or Risk Adjustment projects and reports
  • Tracks and monitors progress against timeline and key milestones
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience with customer service and/or office support
  • Education/Licensure: Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience required

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to be a team player and exercise initiative in responding to practice requests and concerns in a helpful and courteous manner
  • General understanding of the health care industry, ideally the provider relations field – desired
  • Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required
  • Exercise attention to detail; ability to provide accurate data entry
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, multi-task, complete projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines a must
  • Problem-solving and organizational skills a must
  • Language Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Computer Skills: Ability to perform intermediate-level functions using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
