About the role
The Program Coordinator works in a team environment, owning projects and collaborating closely with the team and physician partners.
Responsibilities
- Assist with agendas, meeting arrangements and minutes
- Assist with projects for the Operations & Risk Adjustment team and other assignments received by management
- Assists supervisor and department with presentations (content editing/content recommendations in addition to standard proofing)
- Collects and compiles data and information for analysis
- Composes routine, general correspondence to stakeholders and leadership
- Effectively prioritize and complete assigned tasks and projects
- Reconcile and validate data for accuracy and completion
- Research and provide courteous, accurate and timely responses to inquiries by providers as related to Operations or Risk Adjustment projects and reports
- Tracks and monitors progress against timeline and key milestones
- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications
- Minimum Experience: 1+ years of experience with customer service and/or office support
- Education/Licensure: Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree; or equivalent work experience required
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to be a team player and exercise initiative in responding to practice requests and concerns in a helpful and courteous manner
- General understanding of the health care industry, ideally the provider relations field – desired
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills are required
- Exercise attention to detail; ability to provide accurate data entry
- Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision, multi-task, complete projects in a timely fashion and meet deadlines a must
- Problem-solving and organizational skills a must
- Language Skills: Strong communication skills both written and verbal to work with multiple internal and external clients in a fast-paced environment
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
- Computer Skills: Ability to perform intermediate-level functions using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
