Program Coordinator

About the role

Responsibilities

• Support students in their academic and personal journeys through mentoring and guidance.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of health, fitness, and entrepreneurship courses tailored for veterans.
• Collaborate with fellow educators to enhance educational programs and ensure student success.
• Provide mental and physical health support services to students.
• Engage in community outreach and partnerships to expand UHP's reach and impact.

Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in fields such as exercise science, health coaching, business administration, or related areas.
• Experience working with veterans or a strong understanding of veteran-specific needs.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

• Previous experience in a similar role or relevant field.
• Passion for education and a commitment to supporting veterans' success.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of health and fitness principles and practices.
