Program Compliance Specialist
About the role
Staff in this position will work with the Identification Services Team, assisting with fingerprinting and taking photographs for staff or inmate identification cards. They will audit records to ensure all ID cards and photographs are up-to-date. The role involves reporting to various prison facilities statewide to assist with staff and inmate credential responsibilities.
This is a correctional facility position. Daily duties require entering the secure perimeter of the institution, clearing a metal detector, and being subject to a light frisk search. If you have any metal devices that would prevent clearance, a medical note and waiver will be required. Access to cell phones or other electronic devices such as laptops or smartwatches is not permitted inside the secured perimeter. Outside food cannot be brought in; dining rooms are available for lunch breaks.
Responsibilities
- Assist with fingerprinting and photographing for staff or inmate identification cards
- Audit records to ensure ID cards and photographs are current
- Report to various prison facilities statewide to support credentialing processes
- Comply with security protocols, including metal detector clearance and frisk searches
Requirements
- Ability to enter secure correctional facility perimeters daily
- Willingness to clear metal detectors and undergo frisk searches
- No access to personal electronic devices (e.g., cell phones, laptops, smartwatches) while on-site
- Medical note and waiver required for any metal devices that prevent clearance
Qualifications
- Experience with fingerprinting, identification, and photograph credentials is preferred
Schedule
Work hours: 7:30 AM – 3:00 PM
Unpaid lunch duration: 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
