PROGRAM BUDGET ANALYST II - OAHU
Duties Summary
Program Budget Analysts perform and/or supervise the preparation, analysis and presentation of intermediate and long-range plans and budgets in the various program areas of the State's program structure. The Program Budget Analyst II performs a variety of simple to moderately difficult work assignments in the procedural and technical aspects of budget analysis which do not require the services of a trained analyst, performs routine program analysis activities and performs other duties as required.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Legal Authorization To Work: The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.
Education: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
Specialized Experience: Six (6) months of progressively responsible professional experience which involved as a primary emphasis the performance of technical analytical work in the evaluation of operating programs to determine their effectiveness in achieving desired objectives. Technical analytical experience for the purpose of these classes includes the following areas of concentrations: Program Analysis and Evaluation, Program Planning, and Program Budgeting.
