Program and Project Manager

About the role

Arup’s Project & Program Management (PPM) teams provide professional services across a wide range of strategic and complex projects and programs. Because organizational change is generated through projects, capable project and program management are key to ongoing success. Arup delivers capital expenditure portfolios of projects with a focus on business outcomes and benefits realization. Delivering projects on time, on budget, and to scope is vital, but Arup goes further, taking a creative approach to project and program management that generates innovative solutions.

You will support the management and oversight of all aspects of project and program delivery, including:

• Representing Arup in support of the day-to-day project manager on a diverse range of projects;
• Working as part of a team to deliver commissions in full compliance with Arup Management System requirements and/or client platforms;
• Supporting team leaders with integration and management of multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality output;
• Supporting team leaders on a range of business development activities, including developing client relationships and preparation of bids;
• Developing your own skills to ensure ongoing flexibility and value to clients;
• Supporting the development of new service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Project Management;
• Minimum 3 years of project and/or program management in the built environment;
• Pursuing a Professional Certification in the PPM environment;
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Experience with Alternative Project Delivery models such as Design-Build, P3, etc., is an advantage;
• Experience working as part of an owner’s representative team or as a member of project teams working for external clients is an advantage;
• Proficiency in Teams, SharePoint, Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint is required;
• Experience with other project management and scheduling software, such as P6, is an advantage.

Pay

The good faith base salary hiring range for this job in New York, New York is $120,000 to $145,000 per year. This range is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of New York, New York will differ.
