Program and Project Management Specialist

About the role

As a project management specialist, you know the complexities of supporting a project from concept to completion. Many programs require a significant investment of limited resources, and it’s imperative to keep the project on a productive path. That’s why we need you, an experienced project management specialist who can help ensure success through careful analysis and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain organizational programs in support of the Navy’s Mission Systems.
• Work with Assistant Program Managers to prepare acquisition documents while monitoring other aspects of cost, schedule, and performance.
• Help with tactical planning using resources like MS Office and Power BI tools.
• Regularly interact with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), schedulers, or project analysts.
• Communicate effectively to ensure the program achieves its goals and meets our quality standards.

Requirements

• Experience supporting Navy or DoD clients.
• Experience supporting Navy or DoD Program Management Offices.
• Knowledge of DoD Adaptive Acquisition framework or DoD Instruction DoD 5000.02.
• Ability to grasp technical concepts related to electronic warfare, information warfare, and signals intelligence.
• TS/SCI clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications

• Nice if you have: Experience writing DoD Acquisition documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Project Management Professional, Agile, or SAFe Certification.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD).

Schedule

This is a full-time position with the possibility of remote work, depending on the work model.
