About the role

The Program Administrator role is critical in supporting customer account administration through cross-functional coordination, order tracking, execution milestones, and operational support.

Responsibilities

  • Aid in the review of program proposals or plans to define time frames, procedures, staffing requirements, and resource allocation across various phases of the program.
  • Collaborate with Program Management, Operations, and other stakeholders to outline the work plan, assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority, and seek technical advice to resolve issues.
  • Drive and coordinate projects/activities with the Customer Focus Team (CFT) members to ensure the program progresses on schedule and within budget, facilitating communication across different departments.
  • Prepare program reports and executive presentations for management, clients, or others.
  • Assist in the development and tracking of metrics for the program.
  • Occasionally travel to customer locations.
  • Lead the team in identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities that affect project timelines, costs, or daily production activities.
  • Follow up on shipments to ensure compliance with site and customer guarantees, coordinating the team to address any issues that could impact delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
  • 4+ years of experience in operations or program roles in manufacturing.
  • 4+ years of experience in the Automotive Industry, preferred.

Qualifications

  • Expert-level proficiency in Excel (including VBA/Macros, Pivot Tables, Power Query/Power Pivot).
  • Advanced functional skills to conduct on-the-job training and guide other employees.
  • Strong functional, technical, and people/process management skills, as well as customer relationship skills.

Skills

  • Project management skills.
  • Customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
