Professor, Surgery-Plastic Surgery

Essential Job Functions

• Provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research, and patient care needs of the Department of Surgery.
• Assist in fulfilling UTMB’s threefold mission.
• Provide direct patient care including consultative services, outpatient and inpatient services, and perioperative care.
• Participate in all teaching activities of the division including conferences and lectures, bedside rounds, and house staff supervision.
• Advise and evaluate residents and students, provide medical direction for Hospital services, and participate in committee memberships at the departmental and Health System level.

Minimum Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved medical school.
• Completed an approved residency training program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Plastic Surgery.
• Texas Medical license without restrictions.

Salary

Commensurate with experience.
