About the role
The Freeman School of Business at Tulane University invites applications for a full-time, non-tenure system faculty position in Management Communications. This position is part of the Business and Legal Studies Area and is available for one, two, or three years, starting July 1, 2026. Salary, teaching load, and benefits are competitive with other major research institutions.
Responsibilities
- Teach audience analysis, persuasion and influence, strategy and structure, data storytelling, executive presence, interpersonal dynamics, and managerial writing.
- Deliver rigorous undergraduate and graduate courses, often with an experiential learning focus.
- Be actively involved in their field through professional and scholarly activities.
- Contribute to service to the Freeman School and Tulane University.
Requirements
- Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Professional practice in leadership and persuasive communications, communication skills training, and/or interpersonal dynamics facilitation.
Qualifications
- A terminal degree in a relevant field (e.g., Communication, Business Administration, etc.) is preferred.
- Experience in higher education or equivalent professional experience is required.
- Ability to teach in both undergraduate and graduate programs.
