About the Role
The Department of English and the Programs in Writing at the University of California, Irvine, is conducting a search for an assistant, associate, or full professor specializing in creative writing (fiction). Candidates are expected to have a significant publication record and a strong commitment to—and preferably experience in—teaching within the studio arts model. The successful candidate will teach both graduate and undergraduate level courses.
Requirements
- MFA and/or Ph.D. in a relevant field (required at time of application).
Responsibilities
- Teach graduate and undergraduate courses in creative writing (fiction).
- Mentor students in research, outreach, and creative activities.
