Professor of Clinical Pediatrics (Divison of Neonatology)-CHLA
About the role
The Fetal and Neonatal Institute and the Division of Neonatology of the Department of Pediatrics at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) and USC are seeking candidates for 1 full-time, non-tenure track faculty positions at the Professor level or higher. This position is clinically focused and in addition to contributing to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education, the successful candidates will provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and in one of our four communities based NICUs.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education
- Provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and in one of our four communities based NICUs
- Rotate in the CHLA NICU as fellows from the LAC-USC Neonatal-Perinatal program
- Engage in clinical neonatology
Requirements
- Must hold MD or DO degree
- Board certified in Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- +5 years of experience working in a level IV NICU including ECMO
- Must be eligible for a California medical license
Desirable qualifications
- Strength in teaching
- Experience in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research
- Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment
Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $158,177-$517,000.
