About the role
The Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California (USC) and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) in the Department of Pediatrics in the Division of Neonatology are actively seeking a full-time faculty member for the position of Clinical Associate Professor of Pediatrics (Clinician Educator).
Responsibilities
- Contribute to pediatric resident and neonatal-perinatal fellow education
- Provide clinical service in the 58-bed, level IV state-of-the-art Newborn and Infant Critical Care Unit at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles and in one of our four communities based NICUs
Requirements
- Must hold MD or DO degree
- Board certified in Pediatrics
- Board certified/eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine
- Clinical experience in clinical neonatology
- Strength in teaching
- Experience in patient-oriented, educational, QI/PI or outcome research
- Strong oral and written communication/interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a complex, high-intensity academic environment

Benefits
The annual base salary range for this position is $116,605-$417,709.
