Professional Voice Actor - Italian

About the Role

What if your voice could directly shape how AI speaks to millions of Italian speakers around the world? We're looking for experienced Italian-language voice actors to record high-quality audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping next-generation AI systems sound more natural, expressive, and authentically human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for working voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding vocal presence, native-level Italian fluency, and access to professional recording equipment.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated speech for naturalness, pronunciation accuracy, emotional range, and overall quality
• Deliver structured, actionable feedback to help refine and improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review scripts and suggest adjustments to enhance clarity and ensure authentic, natural-sounding Italian delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with a strong command of natural spoken delivery
• Equipped with a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Able to deliver engaging, expressive, and well-articulated vocal performances consistently
• Attentive to nuance — you notice subtle differences in tone, phrasing, and pronunciation
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in radio, dubbing, commercial voice work, or theatrical performance
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or DAW software
• Awareness of regional Italian dialects and pronunciation variations
• Background in linguistics, communications, or performing arts
