Professional Voice Actor - Italian

About the Role

We're looking for experienced Italian-speaking voice actors to record professional-grade audio and evaluate AI-generated speech — helping train the next generation of AI systems to sound genuinely human.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for seasoned voice professionals. No AI background needed — just a commanding Italian voice, a professional setup, and a sharp ear for quality.

What You'll Do

• Record clear, expressive Italian-language audio using a large diaphragm microphone (LDM), following provided scripts and prompts
• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech for natural flow, pronunciation accuracy, and emotional authenticity
• Deliver detailed, actionable feedback to improve synthesized voice outputs
• Review and suggest refinements to scripts to enhance clarity and ensure natural-sounding delivery
• Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Who You Are

• Experienced voice actor, narrator, audiobook reader, or voice-over professional
• Native or near-native fluency in Italian with confident, expressive delivery
• Owner of a high-quality large diaphragm microphone and access to a quiet, controlled recording environment
• Capable of producing engaging, articulate, and emotionally nuanced vocal performances
• Naturally detail-oriented when evaluating tone, clarity, pronunciation, and pacing
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience across multiple Italian accents or regional speech patterns
• Background in audiobooks, commercial voice-over, dubbing, or broadcast narration
• Familiarity with audio editing tools or digital audio workstations (DAWs)
• Experience evaluating speech quality or working in post-production
