About the role

The Professional Services Consultant will oversee implementations and consultative engagements for the Proofpoint Data Security products. This includes Endpoint DLP, Insider Threat Management (ITM), SaaS Email DLP (EDLP), Cloud Application Security Broker (CASB), SaaS Isolation & Adaptive Access Control (AAC), Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), Insider Threat Detection (ITD), ITM On-Premises, and Proofpoint Isolation. This individual will develop new services, implement best practices, and assist in customer escalations as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new services and implement best practices for Proofpoint Data Security products.
  • Assist in customer escalations as needed.
  • Ensure successful service delivery and customer success, especially with third-party DLP solutions (Microsoft + Symantec DLP offerings).
  • Migrate legacy solutions to the Proofpoint Data Security Posture Platform.
  • Manage and align client business priorities with data protection strategies.
  • Reduce clients' security risk by mapping technology to organizational processes and resources.
  • Deliver innovative ideas and solutions that derive measurable results.
  • Support several of Proofpoint’s top accounts by providing excellent service delivery and communication.
  • Present updates to management identifying risks, challenges, and proposed solutions.

Requirements

The ideal candidate has the demonstrated ability to ensure successful service delivery and customer success as well as third party DLP solutions (Microsoft + Symantec DLP offerings) to support migrating legacy solutions to the Proofpoint Data Security Posture Platform. The role requires the ability to work with non-technical managers and executives to develop technical and business requirements for their company's custom data security program.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years industry experience in a customer-facing role.
  • 4+ years of experience in IT consulting or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Data Security, Insider Threat Management, Endpoint Security, Cloud Security, Data Security Posture Management, and/or Identity Threat Detection concepts.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Demonstrated organizational abilities with a keen eye for detail.
  • Commitment to delivering exceptional client service, with the confidence to engage in-person and virtually.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and follow through to completion.
  • English proficiency in both technical and non-technical communication is required.

Skills

  • Experience in Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), GPO management, and PowerShell scripting.
  • Exposure to identity security tools, deep knowledge of "identity-centric indicators of compromise", and understanding of deception-based detection.
  • Experience in Windows Server environment; experience with web infrastructure components like IIS and MS SQL.
  • Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions.
  • Basic understanding of Linux infrastructure.
  • Exposure to Microsoft or Symantec DLP solutions.
  • Technical Spanish speaking skills.

Pay

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets as set out below. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.
