Professional (Senior) Sales Representative, Pain - Alexandria, VA

This role supports revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution in the pharmaceuticals and biotech space. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes, strengthening market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results.

Responsibilities

• Develop a business plan for the assigned territory aligned with the company sales objectives
• Conduct effective sales presentations to targeted customers
• Achieve quarterly sales goals while maintaining ethical practices and regulatory compliance
• Understand and apply targeting principles effectively
• Create pre-call planning strategies for key targets
• Build positive relationships with peers, customers, and company management
• Ensure high productivity levels in call and field activities
• Collect and analyze information from stakeholders to tailor strategies for prescribers within the territory
• Utilize marketing materials and programs to raise awareness of the company products among physicians
• Respond promptly and accurately to customer inquiries with consistent information
• Pursue continuous learning in sales, communication, and product knowledge

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of pharmaceutical or healthcare product sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated business acumen
• Proven influence and negotiation skills
• Strong oral and written communication abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and listening skills
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively to meet targets
• Self-starter with high motivation to succeed
• Willingness to travel within the territory, including overnight trips
• Must reside in the designated territory geography
• Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record

Pay

$100,000 – $162,000 annually
