Professional Learning Specialist (Imagine IM)

The Professional Learning Specialist is an experienced educator who provides content-specific support, training, and guidance in the implementation of Imagine Learning’s Imagine IM. This role collaborates with district leaders, school administration, and teachers to plan, implement, and sustain the successful adoption of Imagine IM throughout the customer lifecycle.
This is a regular, full-time, US-based remote position reporting to the Professional Learning Solutions Director. Candidates in MI, OH, IN, and IL are highly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Deliver fee-based, engaging, small and large group presentations, both in-person and virtually, centered on district/school teaching and learning recommendations while modeling instructional best practices.
- Develop professional learning plans and implement strategies to support clients throughout their journey, from initial interest to renewal.
- Prepare presentations, including account set-up verification, confirming session learning outcomes, personalizing delivery materials, and confirming travel arrangements.
- Submit Training Requests, update and maintain customer records with session summaries, and recommend next steps.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including Customer Service and Sales.
- Respond to internal and external customer communication as part of a matrixed service team.
- Engage in a solutions-focused Professional Learning Community, acting as both a learner and a leader to share best practices and learn new skills.
- Manage multiple districts and projects simultaneously, focusing on forecasted delivery of services with attention to seasonal deviations.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as needed to support team objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field, with a minimum of 5+ years of teaching experience in blended and/or online learning; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Master’s Degree in Education, Educational Technology, or a relevant field is preferred.
- Experience with Imagine Learning’s core curriculum product, Imagine IM, is highly preferred.
- Current teaching certification or prior teaching experience is required.
- High school math experience (grades 9-12) is highly preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Zoom, and Teams.
- Experience delivering successful professional development, training, or consulting services in an educational environment.
- Strong multi-tasking, project management, and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills, able to handle multiple priorities with demanding timeframes.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff in a high-quality, results-driven, team-oriented environment.
- Valid driver’s license, automobile insurance, and a clean driving record for at least the preceding 39 months.
Schedule
- Travel up to approximately 60% of the time, increasing to up to 90% (4-5 days per week) during seasonal peaks, including overnights.
Pay
Base pay is anticipated to be between $70,000 and $78,000. Eligible employees may also receive incentive/commission/annual bonus pay based on individual and/or company performance. Compensation may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, training, education/certifications, geographic location, internal equity, and local market conditions.
