Professional Home Inspector

Responsibilities
- Work in various weather conditions
- Climb ladders
- Walk on roofs
- Access crawl spaces and attics
- Stand for long periods of time
- Stay current on latest company initiatives, policies, and procedures
- Continually develop advanced technical knowledge in building science
- Show punctuality, work independently, and demonstrate a strong work ethic
Requirements
- 2+ years of construction, real estate, or home repair/service experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a pre-employment background investigation and illegal drug test
- Successfully achieve the industry certification test within 4 months of employment
Qualifications and Education
Qualifications and education requirements include a basic knowledge of residential home systems and elements, solid computer technology skills, and the ability to work independently.
Pay and Schedule
Compensation is based on experience and qualifications, ranging from $18.00 to $30.00 per hour. The schedule offers a lot of flexibility in terms of working part-time with potential to move to full-time in the future.
