Professional Engineer (Civil/Structural)
Job Summary
Oldcastle Infrastructure is currently seeking a Professional Engineer with an emphasis in Civil / Structural Engineering. This position will involve performing engineering designs in support of estimates, submittal packages and production of precast products.
Job Location
This position will be hybrid at our Auburn, WA or Wilsonville, OR facility.
Job Responsibilities
- Work with Leadership and CAD Operators in support of sales and production
- Support installation of engineered products in assigned region
- Work on various engineering projects in support of sales as well as continuous improvements in manufacturing, process, shipping, handling, and installation
- Prepare calculations and drawings for precast products
- Work with the Quality Control Department to ensure precast products are manufactured in accordance with Oldcastle's Quality Control Program
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Bachelors of Science Degree in Civil Engineering / Structural Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer, or able to obtain within 6 months
- Previous experience in concrete design / precast design (preferred) – other structural disciplines acceptable
- Ability to read and interpret drawings, and be able to perform structural concrete designs
- Ability to use a variety of software programs, including AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Products, MathCAD, SAP2000
- Organization and communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative
- Ability to interact with customers, managers, engineers, drafters, and other employees to resolve engineering and management related issues
Compensation
- Base salary range of $120,000 - $130,000 per year
- 10% Annual bonus opportunity
- Vacation hours of two weeks per year
- Sick leave benefits up to 56 hours per annum
