Professional Development Coach (Per Diem; Special Education)

About the Role

As a Professional Development Coach, you’ll guide educators in enhancing their skills in key instructional areas such as literacy, math, STEM, technology implementation, and blended learning. Your work will directly impact teachers and, in turn, countless students by fostering a safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Host dynamic and collaborative planning conferences to unleash the creative potential of educators.
• Craft creative example lessons that captivate students.
• Lead interactive professional development workshops when needed.
• Research and demonstrate instructional strategies.
• Foster a culture of active participation and vibrant open discussions.
• Ensure all educator development is completed successfully.
• Provide report documentation as required.
• Communicate actively with directors regarding activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in education or related field (master’s degree preferred).
• Experience teaching math, literacy, technology, or STEM curriculum.
• Experience delivering professional development workshops to adults.
• Experience working in blended learning classrooms.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Microsoft Office experience.
