About the role

During Assistant Community Director Training (July 31st- Aug 7th 2026): Participating and engaging in GA Training in preparation for their academic year position including completing compliance-related training, duty/on-call preparedness training
Completing administrative pieces (scheduling on-call, academic year scheduling, preparation for RA training and development of academic year resources)
During RA training and move-in, ACD’s complete (August 7th- August 15th):
Supervising their designated Resident Assistant (RA) team including behavioral management and communication coordination during large-scale RA training sessions
Supporting the residence hall and Community Director in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Residential Learning Experience
Assisting undergraduate RAs in increasing their skill level in their job functions
Recruiting for residential student organizations (aspect of their advisement responsibilities)
Completing administrative and departmental responsibilities (i.e. scheduling, creating training materials, assisting with completion of RA paperwork, etc.)
Serving on an On-Call/crisis response campus-wide rotation
