About the role
The Professional Aide Project is designed to provide Assistant Community Directors (ACDs) with comprehensive training and support leading up to their academic year positions. This includes participation in GA Training, which covers compliance-related training and duty/on-call preparedness.
Responsibilities
- Engaging in GA Training to prepare for their academic year position
- Completing administrative tasks such as scheduling on-call and academic year schedules
- Supervising and coordinating with Resident Assistants (RAs) during large-scale training sessions
- Assisting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the Residential Learning Experience
- Supporting undergraduate RAs in enhancing their job functions
- Recruiting for residential student organizations as part of their advisement responsibilities
- Performing administrative and departmental duties including scheduling, creating training materials, and assisting with RA paperwork
- Serving on an on-call/crisis response campus-wide rotation
Requirements
- Must be a 2026-2027 ACD for REHS
Qualifications
Preferred qualifications include:
- Experience working with and supervising RAs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
