Production Worker - (Major)

Job Responsibilities

• Aid in setting up and operating production lines according to established procedures.
• Verify that equipment is correctly set up and functioning properly.
• Inspect products periodically to ensure they meet specified requirements.
• Assist operators in resolving equipment issues when necessary.
• Communicate with management about any problems encountered.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Follow safety lockout/tag-out procedures.
• Report any unsafe conditions to management.
• Understand and instruct others on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Work safely and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.

Experience & Skills

• Up to 1 year of experience in a related field is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at machine speeds.
• Proficiency in understanding written English.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite products.

Education

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Work Environment

• Work in a manufacturing plant environment with potential exposure to noise, extreme temperatures, and powered equipment.
• Position may involve frequent and/or infrequent bending, squatting, pushing, pulling, stretching, reaching, using hands and fingers, talking, hearing, feeling objects, tools, controls, and standing/walking on concrete flooring.
• Position may require standing/walking for more than 4 hours.
