Production Worker - Framers and Builders

About the role
Under general supervision, work on the production line to build manufactured housing as part of a team, performing quality work at a fast and consistent pace. This role involves manual labor in assigned areas, building and framing in a production setting, and maintaining a neat and clean workspace.
Responsibilities
- Work with a team to build and frame manufactured housing in a production environment
- Read and use a tape measure, blueprints, and orders
- Communicate effectively with coworkers
- Use hand tools, air tools, and electrical tools
- Maintain a strong work ethic and follow safety procedures
- Demonstrate good teamwork skills and uphold Champion Operating Principles
Requirements
- Less than high school education; or up to six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing or modular housing desired
- General construction experience and knowledge required
Skills
- Ability to work quickly and methodically
- Strong work ethic and teamwork skills
- Understanding of safety procedures
