Production Worker - [NB]

About the role

We are seeking Production Workers for a factory located in Jackson, TN.

Responsibilities

• Verify count, inspect, and handle product to determine grade and identify substandard items on the conveyor line.
• Place rejected products and individual grades of products in designated piles, containers, or areas.
• Add supplemental product to meet original product specifications.
• Notify Supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
• Rotate through various positions on the Appetizer line.
• Assist in other areas of the plant as required by production demands.
• Maintain a safe and clean work area.
• Adhere to company policies, safety standards, and good manufacturing practices.
• Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as provided.
• Perform other duties and assignments as required.

Requirements

• Demonstrate effective organizational and communication skills.
• Maintain composure, continuity, control, and efficiency while performing multiple changing tasks.
• Work in situations requiring tact, diplomacy, firmness, good judgment, responsibility, and fairness.
• Complete tasks efficiently.
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
• Possess hand dexterity and eye-hand coordination.
• Able to climb stairs and ladders.
• Must be able to bend, stoop, walk, and stand for extended periods.

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Schedule

3rd shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM
