Production Worker (FPI Inspector Weekend Nights)

About the role

The FPI Inspector position is available at Howmet Aerospace's Howmet Casting located in Dover, New Jersey. The work schedule is Sunday - Thursday, 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM.

Responsibilities

• Inspects castings under black and white light in accordance with predetermined standards for purposes of detecting surface defects.
• Maintains work area and equipment in a clean, orderly, and safe condition.
• Marks failures and separates castings into acceptable, failure, and rework categories.
• Highlights abnormal indications to supervision.
• Completes paperwork as assigned by supervisor or job standards.

Qualifications

• This position requires the ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) in English.
• Must be able to work flexible hours including night and weekends with little advanced notice.
• BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Access to export-controlled items, High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution, No relocation benefit offered.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Basic Computer Skills.
