About the role

This position is responsible for deplating, dewaxing, and inspection/wrapping of molds for casting in the Equiax and DS Foundry.

Schedule

  • Midnight Shift: Sunday night – Thursday night, 10:00 PM – 06:30 AM
  • Weekend Nights Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 PM – 06:30 AM (with training on 1st shift Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM)

Pay

  • Midnight Shift: New hire starting hourly rate $21.58; after 12 months $23.92
  • Weekend Nights Shift: New hire starting hourly rate $25.00; after 12 months $27.71
  • Hourly shift premium for off-shift assignments

Responsibilities

  • Assist in implementing Arconic’s Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) value and policy statement
  • Comply with all department, facility, corporate, and regulatory EHS regulations
  • Wear all required personal protective equipment
  • Report job-related illness, injuries, and safety/health/environmental concerns
  • Attend all EHS training
  • Remove molds from output dry tunnels, remove hardware from molds, and record mold weights
  • Load and unload autoclave and continuous dewax oven
  • Perform Core Reclaim operation in the Equiax Foundry as needed
  • Perform mold wash, inspection, mold wrap, and boroscope operation
  • Operate attendant equipment and transport materials/molds as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area
  • Clean and prepare hardware for wax assembly
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of molds processed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available
  • Ability to lawfully obtain access to export-controlled items
  • Must reside within a 50-mile radius of Dover, NJ (no relocation offered)
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow instructions; write and speak English

Physical Demands

  • Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
