Responsibilities
- Operates sandblast, tumbling, vibratory or REM equipment to clean metal castings of scale, foreign material and discoloration to produce a smooth surface.
- Picks up and delivers products to transport products throughout plant. Performs box assembly and other shipping dock duties such as preparing shipments.
- Chemically etches parts and operates water-honing/ drying oven.
- Grinds parts using back-stand grinding only, sets up, calibrates and verifies fixtures and takes quality measurements.
Requirements
- Must pass etcher I visual exam and Level 1 certification.
- High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written).
- Flexible working hours including night and weekends with little advanced notice.
Qualifications
- Access to export-controlled items.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position.
- Candidates residing within a 50 miles radius of Dover NJ will only be considered.

Pay
- New Hire Starting Hourly Rate: $25.66.
- After 12 Months: $28.31.
- Hourly "shift premium" while assigned to an off-shift.
Schedule
- Work hours: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6PM-6AM.
Training
- Training occurs on Day Shift (Monday - Friday 7A - 3P).
- May last several months.
Environmental Health & Safety Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of Howmet Aerospace’s EHS value and policy statement and its accompanying principles.
- Comply with all department, facility, Corporate and Regulatory EH&S regulations.
- Wear all required personal protective equipment.
- Report all job-related illness and injuries.
- Report all Safety, Health & Environmental concerns to your supervisor in a timely manner.
- Attend all EH&S training.
