Production Worker - Auto Clave

About the role

ATI is currently seeking a Production Worker for their Autoclave department in the Oakdale, PA facility. This position involves the atomization process, where powder is formed from molten metal using high-pressure inert gas. The powder will be processed through various stages before becoming a stronger, more durable material used in aerospace, nuclear, and national defense applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all equipment
• Weigh out raw materials and oversize powder to meet required product chemistry
• Prepare heats efficiently and accurately to promote continuous atomization
• Perform multiple refractory tasks
• Thoroughly clean, assemble, inspect, and install all equipment required for melt preparation
• Verify all equipment and materials are ready for atomization including documentation review
• Perform removal and installation of the furnace into the melt chamber including digging out, grouting, and installing blanket and ground fault

Requirements

• A strong attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with basic computer applications
• Work well independently and with a team

Qualifications

• General HS Diploma / GED
• Prior manufacturing, military, or industrial experience preferred

Skills

• Basic computer skills
• Mechanically inclined
• Lift up to 50 lbs

Pay

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule
