Production Worker 3rd shift

Responsibilities

• Follow all Plant Safety Rules and Regulations and utilize proper PPE at all times.
• Produce continuous quality parts and ensure all quality procedures are followed, including compliance with ISO 9001.
• Complete Manufacturing/Quality documents and communicate internally concerning deviations or general requests.
• Assist in 6s and lean manufacturing practices.
• Verify compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and complete necessary reports.
• Independently operate machines and equipment to produce parts to required tolerances.
• Read and comprehend customer specification sheets; anticipate the next order and stage supplies/products as needed.
• Install parts or materials such as plugs, capseals, rings, and others as specified.
• Utilize various hand tools (e.g., air guns, plug wrenches, capseal tools) safely and efficiently while maintaining production flow.
• Demonstrate capabilities in all areas of the Plant during General Labor Rotation.
• Report any conditions of concern regarding products, materials, or safety to the Production Manager, SHEQ, or Plant Manager.
• Utilize Company systems for reporting production, scrap, inventory, etc.
• Follow direction and meet product quantity requirements.
• Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe working area.
• Attend all required meetings and trainings.
• Perform all other duties as required or requested.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior experience in industrial manufacturing.
• Problem-solving skills to influence efficiency, productivity, and improvements.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, and ratios.
• Computer skills, including experience with internal manufacturing systems.

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, kneel, stoop, and walk for the duration of the shift.
• Good hand/eye/foot coordination.
• Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts, loud environments, fumes, airborne particles, and outside weather conditions.
• Vision: 20/20 corrected; normal hearing range.
• Able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment (cold in winter, hot in summer).

Personal Protective Equipment

• Steel or composite-toed boots.
• Safety glasses.
• Gloves (latex, work gloves, etc.).
• Hearing protection.
• Cut-resistant sleeves.
• Properly fitted clothing.
• Hard hat (in designated areas).
