Production Worker - 3rd Shift

About the role

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is seeking a Production Worker for the 3rd shift at our Highland, IL facility. Core hours are Sunday - Thursday, 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Pay

The hourly rate for this position is $20.45 per hour plus a $0.50 per hour shift differential.

Responsibilities

The Production Worker is responsible for work in all departments of the manufacturing plant, including Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, and Layout, performing various labor jobs. Some departments are more physically demanding, but the general laborer should be capable of handling the work in all departments daily.

Requirements

• No relocation benefit is offered; only candidates residing within a 50-mile radius of Highland, IL will be considered (Active Duty Military Service members exempt from geographic limitation)

• Ability to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to perform repetitive actions such as simple grasping and firm grasping with or without reasonable accommodations
• Ability to work comfortably around moving machinery
• Ability to work in an environment with minimal temperature fluctuations, primarily occurring during dock door openings
