Production Worker - 3rd Shift
About the role
Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division is currently seeking a Production Worker - 3rd Shift at our Troy, IL facility. The core hours are Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. Overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory at times. The rate for this position is $20.45 per hour plus an additional $.50 cent per hour shift premium. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Responsibilities
- Work in all departments of the manufacturing plant – Weld, Paint, Press, Packing, Shipping, Mill, Layout – doing various manual labor jobs.
- Perform packaging and assembly tasks according to production standards.
- Set up materials and components in alignment with shop order specifications.
- Stack, band, and secure parts for safe handling and transport.
- Maintain a clean, organized work area and assist with workstation setup.
- Create barcodes and accurately label finished products.
- Cutting material using a band saw while following all safety procedures.
- Handle materials efficiently to support smooth workflow and production needs.
Requirements
- Must be able to frequently carry 10-34 pounds and occasionally carry 35-100 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to carry a 100-pound ladder occasionally with assistance.
- Must be able to occasionally bend, stoop, squat, and climb heights with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to frequently crouch, kneel, balance, reach above shoulder level, push, and pull with or without reasonable accommodation.
