Production Unit Leader, NEE

About the role

As Plant Manager of our Neenah, WI location, you will direct, plan, and execute the company's strategic plan relating to all manufacturing operations. You will manage internal projects, communicate production metrics and service impacts to maintain schedules, and oversee 80+ personnel working in multiple trade areas. The ideal candidate is individually motivated, results-driven, and possesses strong problem-solving, analytical, and data management skills. You will also be responsible for overseeing department safety policies and procedures, ensuring continuous education on the most current applicable safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices through Lean Enterprise methodologies such as 5S, TPM, SWI, and PDCA.
• Ensure manufacturing capabilities meet or exceed industry and customer requirements for cost, quality, and responsiveness as the company grows.
• Collaborate with Customer Service/Sales on production scheduling, estimating, work-in-process reporting, and other manufacturing issues to meet customer expectations.
• Utilize ERP systems (e.g., LN, SAP).
• Define and recommend operational objectives, developing short- and long-term plans and programs with supporting budget requests and financial estimates.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's Degree from a college or university in a related field; or an Associate Degree from a two-year college; or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• Effective written and oral communication skills in English, along with presentation, negotiation, and analytical skills.
