Production Technician I

Key Responsibilities

• Operate packaging equipment, automated baggers, robot/palletizers, heat sealers, sifters, and related production equipment.
• Pack boxes, sacks, and cartons according to specifications.
• Set up and monitor packaging equipment to ensure efficient operation.
• Label finished products and maintain packaging records.
• Perform in-process quality inspections and collect product samples.
• Enter production data and maintain production logs.
• Participate in shift turnover meetings and complete turnover documentation.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety rules, policies, and procedures while actively participating in plant safety programs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned to support production needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and rotating shift schedule
• Preferred: 1 to 3 years of manufacturing experience, forklift experience and/or certification, basic computer skills, technical school or college coursework
