Production Technician
About the role
Operate a variety of top-of-the-line extrusion & blow-molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe & climate-controlled environment.
Monitor equipment, making adjustments to settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high-quality rigid plastic containers.
Perform routine preventative maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
Assure Plastipak customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications, such as bottle weights & dimensions.
Identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality & scrap reduction.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
- Working knowledge of extrusion or blow molding equipment is preferred.
- Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge.
- Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
- One (1) year of experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with equipment used for high-volume production.
Skills
- Extrusion or blow molding equipment.
- Hydraulics, pneumatics & electrical mechanical basic knowledge.
- Problem solving & troubleshooting.

Pay & Schedule
Nights: 6:30pm-7:00am (3-2-2-3 Schedule)
$24/hr
Schedule
Set Schedules: 12-hour shifts & a rotating 2-week standard schedule of 3 days, then 4 days is 15 working days a month as a full-time associate!
