Responsibilities
- Safely and effectively operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-speed packaging and processing equipment to produce Company products
- Meet all safety expectations, including wearing required personal protective equipment and following safe practices
- Work in a team environment, assisting others as needed
- Collect and analyze data using applied math skills
- Operate a computer keyboard to input and access data
- Perform basic and routine maintenance activities
- Work outside normal scheduled hours and overtime to perform required maintenance
- Use basic hand and power tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, and drills
- Safely operate a tow motor and maintain proper training requirements
- Perform other duties within your skill capability

Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of a High School diploma or GED
- Previous work experience in a food manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred
- Good attendance record and ability to comply with attendance policy
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Able to work an 8-hour shift on a 7-day schedule per week
- Able to work with and around cleaning chemicals and perform sanitation duties
- Able to operate, perform basic and routine maintenance, and troubleshoot equipment, including physical activities such as climbing, standing, bending, twisting, and moving around stairs, ladders, platforms, and various packaging and processing equipment
- Able to lift objects up to 50 pounds frequently
- Self-directed worker capable of working in a team environment to solve problems and implement solutions
- Able to effectively read, comprehend, interpret, record, and apply information from documents (e.g., equipment manuals, SOPs, policies)
Qualified candidates will be required to pass an applied math and a technical aptitude test.
Schedule
3rd shift: 11 PM – 7:30 AM EST (core schedule)
Pay
Training rate: $26.00/hr. After probationary period and qualifications complete: $33.64/hr.
