About the role
Production Tech 2 (DL) is an essential intermediate position within Creation Technologies, tasked with handling moderately complex production technical process activities, advanced troubleshooting, and contributing to improvement projects. This role is a steppingstone for professionals looking to deepen their manufacturing technical expertise, offering a blend of hands-on experience and involvement in improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting down to the root cause level and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Support technical activities under the guidance of the production team, demanding a proactive approach, technical proficiency, and a commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.
- Set up and operate intermediate-level manufacturing equipment to existing specifications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
- Handle intermediate-level production tasks and issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards and that products meet process specifications.
- Provide support in basic daily and weekly appraisal and rudimentary maintenance of equipment and tools necessary for electronic manufacturing processes.
- Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of electronics processes and assembly, with an ability to interpret technical documentation effectively.
- Execute new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Tackle complex technical problems independently, propose feasible solutions, and effectively communicate them to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and contributing to decision-making.
- Execute and support the integration of new technologies and systems, provide feedback, and enhance efficiency and product performance.
- Ensure accurate records and adherence to protocols.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on existing processes and implement and optimize production processes for operational efficiency and adherence to best practices.
- Conduct intermediate-level troubleshooting and problem-solving, providing expert-level technical support to the manufacturing team.
- Lead projects or sub-projects under the broader scope of manufacturing programs, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians, enhancing team skills and productivity.
Requirements

Pay
The anticipated starting pay for new hires in this position is between $19.66 and $35.10 per hour. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses.
