About the role

Production Tech 2 (DL) is an essential intermediate position within Creation Technologies, tasked with handling moderately complex production technical process activities, advanced troubleshooting, and contributing to improvement projects. This role is a steppingstone for professionals looking to deepen their manufacturing technical expertise, offering a blend of hands-on experience and involvement in improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced troubleshooting down to the root cause level and identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Support technical activities under the guidance of the production team.
  • Set up and operate intermediate-level manufacturing equipment to existing specifications, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to safety standards.
  • Handle intermediate-level production tasks and issues, ensuring compliance with quality standards and that products meet process specifications.
  • Provide support in basic daily and weekly appraisal and rudimentary maintenance of equipment and tools necessary for electronic manufacturing processes.
  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of electronics processes and assembly, with an ability to interpret technical documentation effectively.
  • Execute new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Tackle complex technical problems independently, propose feasible solutions, and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and contributing to decision-making.
  • Execute and support the integration of new technologies and systems, provide feedback, and enhance efficiency and product performance.
  • Ensure accurate records and adherence to protocols.
  • Support continuous improvement efforts by providing feedback on existing processes and implementing and optimizing production processes for operational efficiency and best practices.
  • Conduct intermediate-level troubleshooting and problem-solving, providing expert-level technical support to the manufacturing team.
  • Lead projects or sub-projects under the broader scope of manufacturing programs, coordinating with engineering teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians, enhancing team skills and productivity.

Requirements

  • Access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status. As defined by U.S. law, individuals must be any one of the following to qualify:
    • U.S. citizens,
    • Legal permanent residents (a.k.a. green card holders), or
    • Certain protected classes of asylees and refugees, as defined in 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Pay

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the anticipated starting pay for new hires in this position is between $19.66 and $35.10 per hour. Full-time employees are also eligible for performance-based bonuses and benefits. Final offer amounts may vary based on factors including experience, education, location, and shift.
