Responsibilities
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures, including lock-out/tag/out, and notify any unsafe conditions to shift Supervisor, Shift Engineer, Manufacturing Manager, and Safety Coordinator.
- Follow all company safety policies. Immediately report unsafe conditions or acts to shift Supervisor. Report any property damage and immediately report any injury, including pain or discomfort (even from home).
- Direct responsibility for the production and maintenance process in the assigned machines.
- Provide support and guidance about the production process, machine setup, changeovers, and machine repairs.
- Comply with the Production Master Plan (PMP).
- Ensure the use of correct materials in all machines according to the work order.
- Assure the team continuously fulfills procedures including setup, changeovers, GMPs, safety, quality, and packaging specs.
- Check machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment to determine possible damages or repairs in advance and execute repairs.
- Obtain information from operators and technical operators.
- Make fine adjustments, improvements, and manage operational standards in assigned machines.
- Perform all maintenance activities such as cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and corrective routines.
- Participate in preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Ensure all information is filed correctly, including production sheets, efficiency systems, BAAN, cleaning forms, inspection forms, maintenance work orders, and parallelism.
- Perform QA checks using instruments such as scales, micrometers, height gauges, and various attribute gauges to ensure standards are met.
- Support other job modules (peers) when knowledge is needed.
- Actively participate in improvement projects and support organizational projects where value can be added.
- Participate in department meetings on asset efficiency, analyze root causes of failures, and provide solutions for improvement.
- Assist in training coordinated by HR where participation is needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Shift Engineer and/or managers.
- Participate in accident investigations, workplace inspections, general observations, or other safety-related functions as requested by supervisor or manager.
