Pouring Operations

Responsible for pouring hot molten metal from small ladles into sand molds using a fixed manipulator arm and bar-type handle. Daily tasks include tipping ladles to pour metal, dumping used ladle shells, and preparing new ones. Success means consistent, safe, and accurate pouring to meet production standards.

Ladle Handling

Manage the large ladle of hot molten metal by moving it via overhead crane and tipping it to fill smaller ladles using a manual wheel. Add hot topping to molds using a long-handled scoop. Daily precision and safety are critical for success.
