Identify workmanship and material defects by sight
Ensure others perform tasks with a high degree of care and attention to minimize loss of time and material
Ensure team members follow work instructions and procedures, drawings and customer specifications required
Respond to written and verbal direction
Monitor individual work habits and performance
Continuously monitor quality and provide feedback to Operators
Ensure scrap is properly disposed of at the end of each shift
Aid in facilitating shift overlap
Communicate all issues to the supervisor in a timely manner
Lead by example and support management objectives and BEI policies
Act as backup for the Supervisor as needed (e.g., absence, weekend support, etc.)

High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
Some leadership experience
Contract manufacturing experience preferred
0-3 years of experience mentoring others
Knowledgeable in processes to fully support a shift without additional support
Ability to use any equipment required in the functioning of the work center
Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
Understanding of and ability to use continuous improvement tools
Ability to drive solutions to planning issues with direction from management
Ability to support a 24/7 global business operation as required
Effective analytical, planning, and organizational skills
Effective interpersonal skills with employees
Effective problem-solving skills
Discretion, confidentiality, independent judgment, and professionalism when representing the company
Leadership and people management skills
Teamwork and the ability to operate on diverse project teams with direction
Participation in a continuous improvement activity with complete documentation, including a follow-up review with the team in a presentation format

$21.15 to $31.72 USD

Friday - Sunday, 5:00am-5:30pm
