Job Competencies & Qualifications
- Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities related to production equipment and processes.
- Proficiency in ERP systems for tracking production data, inventory, and documentation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders.
- Familiarity with metrology tools and quality inspection processes.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED required.
- An associate degree in manufacturing, operations, or a related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or relevant production environments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in production, assembly, machining, or specialized areas.
- Forklift experience and certification preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Regular communication.
- Standing, walking, sitting, reaching with hands and arms (including overhead).
- Lifting and/or moving up to 35 pounds.
- Moderate noise levels in the work environment.
Job Summary
The Production Team Lead is a senior technical working lead responsible for coordinating daily production activities and supporting shift performance through leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on support as needed. This role directly influences production targets, quality performance, safety expectations, and continuous improvement initiatives while mentoring team members and optimizing workflow.
