Your Role Responsibilities The Production Team Lead oversees manual and automated final packaging and boxing operations, ensuring products consistently meet quality standards and customer expectations. Leveraging a strong foundation in packaging line procedures, basic shipping/receiving, and cross-functional collaboration, this role solves moderately complex operational challenges and recommends process improvements under general supervision. Through accurate, reliable execution and basic team leadership, the Production Team Lead directly supports daily output and overall team performance. Key responsibilities include: Follow all written procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), forms, test methods, and product specificationsMaintain strong communication and organization skills to effectively coordinate daily packaging tasks and team prioritiesPromote a positive safety culture by proactively identifying hazards and filing EHS reportsOperate and adjust material handling equipment to support warehouse and picking operationsUtilize scales, testing tools, and related supplies to execute tasks based on written and verbal instructionsOperate Powered Industrial Trucks (PIT) and drive box trucks as needed for material transportAssist the team with quality accept/reject decisions and implement corrective actions when appropriateWork independently under general supervision, taking initiative on routine tasks while receiving guidance on specialized projects Who You Are Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED 1+ year of leadership experience2+ years of experience in material handling, warehouse operations and/or manufacturing operations Preferred Qualifications Strong understanding of ERP system transactions (e.g., SAP or Oracle)Solid knowledge of quality standards, including GMP, GDP, and ISO regulationsProficiency in basic computer applications for data entry, report generation, and professional communications Salary Range for this position - $32.00 - $49.00 hourly The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
