Production Support Technician
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Sort, distribute, shelf/store components received for job assignments.
- Prep and package materials for shipment or transfer to other company sites or vendors.
- Prepare accurate labeling for shipping.
- Move, unload, stage and store materials utilizing lifting equipment such as fork trucks, and pallet jacks.
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Assist with assembling metalwork and the handling of sheet metal goods.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures.
- Assist with routine shop and equipment maintenance.
- May be required to cross train, supporting other sections of the Company.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Be proficient in the use of hand tools (i.e. ruler, scale, tape measure, calipers) and power tools.
- Ability to interpret blueprint diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Able to pass certification to use of lifting/moving equipment such as a pallet jack and fork truck.
- High dedication to quality of results to avoid rework.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 1 year of previous Inventory experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Other preferred certifications (must be willing to undergo training provided by DVM if certifications not already held):
- OSHA10
- CPR
- Forklift experience and/or certification
- AutoCAD experience, a plus!
- Satisfactory completion of additional background screening.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of standing, squatting, kneeling may be necessary.
- Must be able to read, understand basic schematic/blueprint.
- Must be able to communicate effectively using phones or computer software.
- Must be able to access and navigate each department at the assigned facilities.
- Must be able to travel between MCG locations as needed, some travel could require overnight stays.
